| Tip o' the month--May Micro 20 Do I cover the seeds? I only use a black plastic garbage bag over the top, until they sprout. Green "stuff" growing on your cubes? Don't worry, it's algae, and it'll become plant food as soon as your Micro is transplanted into the Mini. Mini 4 Do I cover the seeds? Cabbage family crops, YES. All other seeds, it's not necessary, as the 5/8" seed or 1" dowel pin are deep, dark and moist enough for most seeds. I use the black garbage back trick to seal in moisture and heat until they sprout. Then remove. Mini 4 + Cubic Pin tricks? Yes! You must pack the soil deep into the 2" blocker to create a nice, crisp 3/4" indentation. Dip in water, charge three times & eject firmly. Maxi 1 Do I want one? If you want the biggest and best tomato, eggplant, celery, pepper, cucumber and melons ever WITHOUT plastic, than we say "Yes". |
